Hi, I work at a collective in Pacific Beach, San Diego and today I called WeedMaps to pay for advertising this is completely normal and needed so that WeedMaps can pay to run its servers… it would also create more business for our collective. I talked to a sales rep and he said how soon you would need to pay to have a description and pictures…  I then told him how I did need that as I have all that on our website, after getting off the phone with the sales rep, he removed my description, pictures, and link to our website, this is not fair as he has not done this to any other collectives… It is fine if this is the new WeedMaps policy but to remove all of our information because I called in to pay them money in the first place is just unfair, either remove everyone’s at once or leave them all.

I really think weedmaps is a great site but they should care more about you the patients and not charge collectives just to give the patients information. In the medical marijuana community I think we should support those want to help sick individuals rather than make tons of money. This move will make it so most Co-Ops do not have a description or pictures, patients will have to blindly choose or choose a collective that has caved into WeedMaps and payed there ridicules amount just to give patients the information they are looking for.

I used to make websites for a living and would just like to thanks weedblogs.com they allow collectives to have complete control over all the information on the site and allow great interaction with patients.

I was watching the discovery channel and came across the show pawn stars and it made me think how awesome would it be if there was a reality tv show in a medical marijuana Co-Op. Not only would this show get much attention and popularity I think it would be very interesting and controversial. I think this would show the public the true side of Cannabis and allow them to see that we help some very sick people.
